I have never been asked about tax withholding or filling in any such form. My UK Ltd is not trading in the US anyway, it's trading in the UK doing business with a US client.

I think all that W-8BEN-E form does is to officially document that.

Never been asked for it. I'm not doing business over there, I'm doing business here under a UK contract.
