gasca to my mind the issue is less about you just wanting to do occasional stints of contracting, more the lack of address for whatever organisations to verify you. We have a few contractor clients who maybe work 3-6 months of the year, taking the rest of the time out to do their own projects, holiday, care for someone etc. However, they have a permanent base in the UK.
