Company Dissolved - Still need IR35 insurance?

Should you keep your insurance running after your company has been dissolved? Somebody said the Revenue can open a case even after they have allowed you to close down.

Theoretically, yes. In practice, if you get to the stage your company is actually dissolved, I really can't see HMRC trying to revive it for this purpose. It'd be very expensive for them, so they'd only consider it if there were massive amounts at stake, and new information (as they'd have had plenty of chances to enquire earlier if they wanted to).

Been asked many times. The perceived wisdom is to keep your insurances/membership alive until the end of the tax year when the company was closed down, mainly in case HMRC pick up something from your SAR. After that it is highly unlikely that something will happen.
