Edit, Looking more at that link, it looks like being in credit to HMRC could be used against the Corporation tax bill? If thats the case then thats fine as Im expecting that bill shortly.

I think that might be CIS that you have seen. As far as I'm aware you can only deduct against payroll items such as PAYE/NI/CIS.

Ill check, if thats the case then Ill need to request the refund as it will take quite some time to reduce to zero otherwise (Its 6 months worth of tax payments on a K tax code!)
