How convincing are you at lying? If you're really, really good then you can keep the money and when they come asking for it say "oh, I didn't realise and I certainly didn't post about it on an internet forum".
If not, then if you keep the money I'd start by checking the penalty for tax fraud.First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. But Gandhi never had to deal with HMRC
