I can not use it anymore and can not live there. This is by law.

I will also be working all over the place (UK and not) in the future.

But for the luxury to use it as business address and receive letters there they want to charge me £350. They will also process the letters.

So far only one room was expensed, in future it is the service, same as Registered Company Address - Mail Boxes Etc. UK and Ireland

Yes, it is obvious rent increase, but if I am OK with this, will HMRC challenge it.
    OK, I believe you.

I don't think HMRC will query this either (get the invoices in YourCo's name) anymore than they would query any other rent/mailbox payments. But its still a crazy amount of money to pay IMO.

      True missed that.

I can't even be arsed claiming the £4 and I WHF nearly all week, amazing what crackpot plans people come up with for a few quid.

All they are doing is sticking their heads above the parapet for the HMRC snipers. Still means they don't come for us....

You can claim any additional costs (which rules out a share of any fixed costs) if you can show how you reasonably calculated it.

Do you personally own the property and receive the £350 a month or are the payments to a seperate company?

Is there any connection between you and the landlord or tenant?

You can use my office for £200 per month if you like, but I'm not giving you any of it back in cash so that might rule it out ;-)

If a group of money grabbing contractors think there is a red flag here HMRC will be on it like a rat up a drain pipe... But I bet it won't make a blind bit of difference to the OP. He got the answer he wanted to hear.

until now for my home as office I expense ~£14/week. This is actual cost of it. No problems from HMRC. This is my co's address of business.

From now on the right to use this flat will be granted to someone else, including they can rent it out to whoever they want (liferent). I want to keep this address as business address. I had an agreement that new "owner" will charge me £350/month for the usage of the address. They are registered landlords and will invoice me for that.

Will this be allowable expense and will it raise any red flags? My accountant says it is OK, second opinions?
Good luck, you'll probably get away with it, make sure you don't admit to what's actually going on though, even on here

I know a guy that will cash dodgy cheques as well if you want?
