    To help clarify the position...

I am the founder and a director at AccountsNet Chartered Accountants. We have been in business for around 20 years, and in that time have successfully dealt with thousands of contractors working in all parts of the UK and mainland Europe.

The reason I am posting a reply here is that the question relates directly to my company and I get the general feeling that many people believe they are 'going cheap' by paying just £65 for all accounts, tax, rti payroll, vat, paye, dedicated accountant, hmrc paperwork handled, free registered office etc.

Well, I'm happy to let you know that with the combination of our qualified & experienced staff and in-house developed web and mobile apps, we operate a very profitable business, primarily grown by client referrals, and don't feel the need to charge any more.

We don't have massive advertising spends either, which also keeps our fees fixed and fair.

If you need to speak to me direct or would like to talk with a current client of AccountsNet, then just visit our site and make contact.

What are your thoughts on the legal requirements for businesses to display their company name, company number and VAT registration number on their website?

AccountsNet do show this, right at the very bottom of their front page:

They do now, yes. They didn't last week though - I wonder what made them update the site to comply with the legislation from goodness knows how many years ago?

But thanks for joining so that you can make that one post - just be careful that people might assume you're just a desperate employee of Accountsnet trying to redeem their failings with posts like that. Welcome to CUK though!

By the way, nowhere on your site does it have the correct name of your company, which is "Accountsnet Limited". You might want to get that looked at as well.

                Thanks for the welcome.

I am a long-term lurker here with no connection to Accountsnet.
