Yep I think that's exactly what will happen Alan and HMRC have been warned that their actions will result in MSC's and even more tax avoidance schemes but I suppose they're just following the will of their political masters

That's a very simplistic view as posters on here have been screwed by an accountant who use to post on here who they did meet face-to-face. In fact nearly all the people I've met personally who have been screwed by an accountant had face-to-face contact with them.

If any company is limited check that you can get the director(s) home address details from Companies House. Also do a search on the director's name to see how many current and previous companies they are linked with. There are various services on the web that show these links for free.

It is also your personally need to take responsibility to confirm anything an accountant says is legal. Thanks to the web this isn't hard to do if you do a bit of reading.

Finally if your accountant asks you to do something which seems illogical e.g. pay money to HMRC to them instead of directly to HMRC find one of the many small business/accountancy forums search them and ask whether this is normal.

It does mean however that lots of lambs for slaughter will be conveniently packaged together for easier harvesting.

I believe whichever government is in power does whatever HMRC tell them. I would have thought retrospective taxation would have convinced anyone.

But I bet some will get away with it.
