      Humongous? 16k?

      He needs to have some cash behind him though. He can't live on 75 quid a week. He may need to keep the business open paying divs and wage to pay the bills. Depends on his personal cash situation and the current affairs of his limited. Just advising it without taking these in to account is just dumb.

        Not sure what the limits are these days. OP will have to find out for himself.
        Also, his personal situation will also make a difference - i.e. does he have a partner who works etc.

        Of course, paying salary is a no go if you claim JSA. Divis is a bit of a grey area.
