    Not so wageslave. In a case of negligence the person responsible for actually doing the work can be sued personally.

    Hard to see how it applies to most contract work as any client with any sort of sense will have some proper system of V&V. If the error was so subtle the checks did not spot it, it is would be hard to call it negligence.

      In other words, as Xogg has just said, you require cover for the company and yourself in the same policy.

      Just remember that fortunate building surveyor who was sued by the end client because the estate agent he'd worked for had gone bust...

      Only cost him £40k...
