    Spouse's ltd company

My spouse is a director of a ltd company. I will have a contract, but don't want to open another new ltd company. Also I don't want to be a director in her ltd company.

What should I need to do if I want to use her ltd company to receive salary from my client?
Any help and advice are appreciated.

Why don't you want to open another ltd? It's the best option. Another case of wanting the rewards of contracting without putting the effort in or something a little darker?

If the payment goes into her Ltd company, it would not be your Client.

You can be an employee of her LtdCo, with salary and dividends but you would be giving her a bit of a headache with auto enrollment on pension among other things, there could be an upside of her LtdCo still being able to have the NI relief, however this would be massivly out weighed by the risk that she can fire you and make your shares worthless if its anything other than a 50/50 split

Add to Simon's point - if your spouse currently benefits from flat rate VAT - combined income might pass Flat rate VAT threshold - this might be an issue too.
It's hard to advise without looking at the numbers.

Speaking from experience it's a PITA and not tax efficient.
          Open your own ltd.
