    employment intermediaries reporting

    So my agency is asking for personal details to be reported to HMRC.

    As I cannot find any thread related to this, I just want to see, what other contractors think about this.

    Looks like there is no opt out, But then HMRC should already have all this info... (I would presume.)

    Look again.

    And don't begin paragraphs with 'So' when it's not needed.

          It's an absolute crock and yet another attack on contractors, who will now be getting reported on as if they were employees.

          My agency has asked for:
          The full name of the person supplying the services (regardless of the contractual right of substitution)
          My NI Number, Date of Birth, Gender, and full personal address
          My Company UTR number

          So they will get around to alleging that I am an employee and sending a tax demand at some point no doubt. Far easier to raise money from the proles than pursue thise pesky global conglomorates for what they should pay.
