Agency excessive margin

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that's what he told me - and he's in charge of all EMEA hiring for that client. With that being said, if he's not sure of a number he tends to just make one up. Or if he's telling his mother how much his new man-bag cost he divides by 3, forgetting that he already told me the divide by 2 version. -
I just had steak for dinner. Cost about £7 from tesco. Have to say I'm annoyed about that because when it was born as a bit of a cow, it cost the farmer nothing. Bloody shysters.Comment

Dont tend to use agencies if I can help it, but if I do I try to try to find one that is on the PSL. Usually those agencies have a lower/set/transparent margin. When the role is opened up to any shysters that is when it is most likely to get done over. I dont go with the "you agreed a rate" line, it is as daft as the expression "you get what you pay for". Any agency with a large margin is likely to have told a fair few porkies to get it. Most likely with some deception to both the contractor and the end client. It's not like the agency is adding a great amount of value, therefore any percentage should reflect this.Last edited by ZARDOZ; 12 March 2015, 23:17.Comment
