The rest of us either aren't in a position to settle, can't bring ourselves to do it or are determined to keep fighting. Actually, there are a lot of people who just don't want to even think about it.

If you were in the scheme when it was partly loan based, and you decide to settle with HMRC, is there a danger that Montp could win at the FTTT and then come after their extra 4% in addition to the tax that you've paid (or is the possibility of them winning so tiny that people feel they can ignore it).

I'm not affected, but as an observer, it seems the chances of MP winning at FTTT are pretty slim. They've been systematically hammered at every legal stage so far. Maybe they can pull a rabbit out of the hat - I would never write them off, but the chances of winning at FTTT have to be lower than 50/50.

NTRT and the George argument - now that seems a lot more promising.

Mp local MP was a decent chap... unfortunately he's retired.

If the Tory candidate comes knocking at my door, I may need 3 people to restrain me.
