Business Offset Mortgage Providers and Buy-to-Lets

Hello there, I am considering investing some of my companies cash reserves in property, buy-to-lets basically. A friend was mentioning that some mortgage providers may still provide offset mortgages for businesses. I've noticed that N&P offer such a product but only 30% is against the offset.

Anyone know of any other offset providers for businesses and also any blogs, articles about the pro's and cons of offset mortgages for businesses considering getting in to buy-to-lets ?

    Thanks for advice

Nationwide seem to offer something like this but you will have to think very carefully about this. You are going to take a hit on rent and profits when you sell so it's going to be a fine line as to whether it's worth it in the long run, particularly with interest rates being so low. Bearing in mind this isn't discussed on the forums or is common knowledge then I would expect the answer is it's not worth it. If it was everyone would be doing it.

Try calling someone like Freelance Financials and discuss it with them. You would think if anyone knows how this works it would be them but you would have to run all the numbers past an accountant to see if it is actually worth it..
