Nixon have a good rep on here.

Qdos specialise more in other contracting areas such as Insurance.

Didn't even know QDOS did accounting. First time I have heard, am sure they are ok. They will certainly know contracting.

NW does have a great rep but whether the guys will be posting on here any more is yet to be seen.

Don't forget to have a look at InTouch and SJD who are the other two major players who also post on here but again the SJD guys (well one in particular) may not be posting any more.

It's all change at the moment with everyone, it seems.

NW and SJD have just been taken over, but the service won't change ()

Clare has left InTouch, but the service won't change ()

Not sure who I would recommend at the moment, to be honest.

You could try Darren Upton. I don't think anything will be changing there for a few years yet

Just to clarify, we do indeed provide accountancy services now. We've had a small book of clients for years, but are now doing it on a larger scale.

Good luck to Clare - no doubt she will be lurking directly or indirectly on these boards...

I presume even though she has gone there are others at In Touch who still provide the same level of service ?

                  ...

I have had a tame local accountant for years who charges quite reasonably. If you are based in the North Hants, Berks, Surrey area PM me and I'll give you the details. He is prompt and aware of contractor needs.

I'm reserving judgement - it's a difficult act to follow, to be honest, and there will always be a learning curve. So far, though, I'd say that the level of service isn't the same as Clare always provided.
