    first time contractor - confused

Hi, bit new to this as have been a permie for the past two years.

A contracting opportunity has arisen now but for limited hours - around 7-10 a week. There'll be next to no expenses involved as I'll be working from home and so I'm unsure as to whether it's worth going through an umbrella company. Question is, am I better off administering my own tax and filling out the forms come end of financial year? Is it difficult stuff? Or can anyone point me in the right direction of any info about this?

    Thanks in advance.
