That's good for you, but sooner or later depositors are going to start withdrawing money and that will result in serious liquidity problems for the banks. The banks are/were still doing some good savings rates to try and improve liquidity but the government is forcing them to lend more and more cheaply thus reduce their ability to attract savings money.The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -
My interest only mortgage has fallen from over £1000 to just £400 in a few months.
Rates are expected to fall another point at the start of next year.
So i will be paying around £250 a month if that happens.
