Poles in IT frighten me, they are dirt cheap and frighteningly good. Even shipping them back to Poland doesn't help because of offshoring. There's so many bad Indians about you can safely tar them all with the same brush, but Poles are a real threat (apart from deseasex )

Eastern Europeans or Indians for that matter are not a problem as their economies will catch up. In 10 years there won't be much of a differential.
The thing not to forget is in the beginning they jump on board Western European projects, as their countries develop this generates even more demand in their own countries. In the company I work in not only are Eastern Europeans working offshore, there is increasing revenue coming from those same countries.I'm alright JackComment
