    Unacceptable aggression from the moderators

"Denny - you do not get to decide what it acceptable or not on this forum. I have stated the view held that if newbies ask silly questions then they are likely to get flamed. That is the way it is and the way it will always be. If you want to be nice to them then reply before anyone else does."

    Ferret

    THE CUK RULES

The forum is intended to be as pleasant a place as possible for all – for newbies and veterans alike. No flaming or disrespect for others please.

We ask that you kindly abide by the following rules:

    2. Be nice to each other - no personal attacks on other users.

    4. Do not stray from the discussion topic.

    ------------------------

Ferret are you sure you are a moderator? Or are we all being fooled here?

Since when did you decide to circumvent the rules of the CUK. I thought you were supposed to uphold the above, not ignore it.

....and no I don't get to decide what happens and what doesn't. You do. All I did was request and ask you to respect my stance on a thread I started, not misinterpret what I PMd you about and make out I demanded it.

So why don't you do your job properly and abide by the CUK rules which you are meant to uphold?

All your answer demonstrated is that this forum is run by idiots for the benefit of a few other idiots.

Pity really. As there are some good people on here and most of the time I have fun and enjoy my time looking at the posts and responding to them.

You've already wasted everybody's time whining. The thread was closed.

      The end.

      Move on, get over it.

      Really.

      Nobody cares.

One of the reasons I like this forum is because many of the responses you get are straight to the point and no pussyfooting around. I find there's too much 'padding' in general society and as a result, many people get offended easily and expect sympathy from everyone about everything. Grow some skin, take the criticism and improve yourself - that's how it should be. I got a grilling on my first post here and because of that I was motivated to read up and catch up so I wouldn't be disadvantaged.
It's about time I changed this sig...

            Denny,

Have you ever been a mod? I was a mod of f4j forum (the ones who have a larger Scotland Yard file than El Quaeda) and I would rather mod the f4j forum anytime.

I do think we should be thanking the mods for their hard work.

I am not sure that disclosing private PMs is a good idea either. I think that ferret has written a quick PM without choosing his words carefully?

This is clearly something you feel very strongly about. Why not leave it a few days before replying again though?

Shame there's nothing in the rulebook that says ferret can summarily ban you for being soooooooo boring. And how an@l are you for spending the time to read all of the rules in an attempt to prove that, once again, you are correct?

Haven't you got a shop assistant to get sacked 'cos you don't like queueing?

Actually it took me less time to read the rules than it did for you to write this response.

Wrong on the second point too.

There should defo' be a rule on here that states that people should quote people accurately and read what they actually wrote. But, there again, I doubt that you can read.

Dear moderators and owners. Please modify the published rules, so that, for example, posters must have at least a tenuous grasp of reality. That way you can ban Danny for being in breach.

                  Thanks and regards.

People choose whether they post or not. I don't decide for them, otherwise I wouldn't have let you post this rubbish.

                    There's nothing to get over.

If you didn't care then why post?

Oh, I'm enjoying this - showing you up for the ignorance you display.
Pity it's not more intellectually challenging.
