    Treherbert isn't. If you need an escape and some open wild spaces in easy reach on your days off, head west to Pembrokeshire and walk the coastal path national park, or south-east to the Gower. As a general rule, proper Wales is as beautiful as anywhere in the UK, lived in Wales isn't.
