    W2K allocating more CPU to a process

    This is a very specific circumstance. I have a W2k machine, it is running an OS/2 process (obviously via os2.exe). The machine is generally completely quiescent. The OS2 process needs to do something, it never gets above about 5% CPU.

    Any idea how I might be able to improve this (proirity doesn't help).

    [Running under WMWare the process goes to about 40% and runs rather quicker.....].
