Cheers for the heads up on Vidahost, they look interesting! Will chuck a few domains at them shortly and see what they are like.

I think I got a discount code somewhere, think its only for packages, but might work for domain names

Vidahost has their own "hidden" discount code page.

Says it gives 10% off, but I used it recently and am sure I got 20% (but maybe I just couldn't add up correctly!). Also, you can buy 3 years for the price of 2 on most packages.
