I'll stick with Microsoft Office actually. I used OpenOffice for about 3 months and it has been consistently slower and more buggy than MSO.
There is NOTHING more stable than Office 2002 SP3

I've now given up on the old install, and contributed to Bill's coffers to the tune of £250 so sort out my Excel problem.
I'd happily ditch MS office, but then my accountant wants excel files, and everybody seems to work with MS Word files, so I can't see it as anything other than an essential tool for being a contractor. Personally I'd rather use WordPad than Word.Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

The MS Action pack contains Office 2003 (including Visio & Project) and a whole load of other stuff for the princely sum of £200 a year.His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment
