    Excel Help - Today's dates based query

    I have a spreadsheet with a list of dates in ascending order in column A, with various entries in B,C & D.

    Is it possible to have a static line, say at the top of the page, that pulls todays dates, looks up column A and pull the subsequent row of data to the top?

    I hope this makes sense to someone

    =VLOOKUP(INT(NOW()),A1:E4,1,FALSE)

    Where A1:E4 is your dataset (highlight the area)

    The 1 is the column you want to return,

    So either 1,2,3,4
    What happens in General, stays in General.

            Now returns a second stamp, which I just happened to truncate using INT

            Today returns it without the stamp. So probably better to use that.

            I take it you're writing a 'How much I made this month' spreadsheet ;-)
