    MS Technet Subscription?

Considering a Technet Professional subscription simply for all the useful MS software...
Anyone else got one? any software restrictions that i should be aware of before handing over my cash to MS?
Are there any other MS subscriptions i could consider? (i used to have the "Empower for ISV" subscription, but thats been discontinued)

Have you thought about going the partner route? You get all the partner software and a Technet subscription as well. About £300 a year.

I use Technet, £100 a year renewal. Gives me all the MS software I need and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

The only annoyance is that Project Professional is classed as an enterprise tool and is excluded from the standard package yet some of the top-end server software is included, including Project Server.

You get the full 2010 Office Suite including project and Visio. All of the common servers 2008R2 Sharepoint up to enterprise. SQL 2008 etc. Windows 7 ultimate 1 x licence, windows 7 professional 10 licenses etc.

With the additional Technet that you get with the partner subscription I have access to everything apart from Dev software.
