SSL not working in IE9 but works in Chrome

My banks website via https has decided its not working in IE9 today but works fine in Chrome.

It worked in both 2-3 days ago.

Is this some kind of certificate problem with IE9 - a root or intermeadiate not installed or ?

Anybody else getting this odd behaviour?

If A&L was a target of dodgy doings, maybe other banks are too?

yes, I think it is exactly this.

      Today no problems.

Well, good to know the certificate chain is doing something in IE - although strange that Chrome let it through.
