IPhone or IPad reply to all issue

How do you scroll to the bottom of the reply window on an iPhone or IPad when u do a reply with quotes?

If the text is too big then you can't seem to scroll down. Any ideas?

Go to the bottom of the reply screen and enter 3 or 4 returns, then delete them. The bottom of the page then appears.
