    Local Oracle Database Choices

I've got a quick piece of work I need to knock up. I have Oracle Client and normally connect to a DB instance, but at present thats not available so I need a local solution so I can just get on with scripting it.

Oracle is so bloated, I just need to be able to produce a local db and test some PL/SQL scripts. Is Personal Oracle going to be the best choice or is there something else I should install?

    There is Oracle Express.

Spock: "Trained? Judging from you, I would have guessed it was trial and error."
