So, third party software used multitasking badly, killed the battery life, and the user (understandably) blamed the phone manufacturer instead.
I think this is the exact situation Apple is trying to avoid with their extremely cautious approach to third party multitasking on the iPhone. I kind of see their point after watching this!Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.
