1)Anyone having bother editing text? moving back and forward through text with the optical "trackball" thingy is a bit hit and miss - and it sometimes inserts text on the way - I have tried bleeding my radiators but that hasn't helped.

2)I can use the GMail app and the "native" mail - but I'm not sure why I would need anthing other than gmail as I run everything via gmail anyway - what's anyone else doing?

Haven't done much editing yet, but can see it might be tricky. Also using gmail - works a treat, so haven't bothered configuring the mail client.

I've never had it insert text inadvertently when editing the text, but maybe bleeding the radiators hasn't helped. Have you tried holding it by the bottom left corner - I hear it works wonders on the iPhone!

I use Gmail for my main email use, and the mail app for my personal Gmail account. Someone I work with uses Yahoo! for his mail, so only uses the mail app.
