Apple to use AMD processors?

As long as it looks pretty, will Apple users care/notice?

Nope, a processor is a processor and AMD make some good ones. 80% of the performance for 60% of the price they say.

More interesting is the fact its in reaction to some of Intels dubious practises of blocking out competition (which Apple themselves would never do).
