    In my experience, BT will come out, find nothing, then charge you £120 plus VAT for the privilege.

      Do the testing from the master socket and if the problem still exists, then it is likely a fault on the outside, so you should not be billed. If the problem is on the inside wiring, you're likely to be charged.

        I do have sky and the boxes are all filtered. Besides, the sky boxes have been in for 6 months and the problem only started on 12 April.

        The isp is investigating. I think its a BT fault myself. Thanks for the comments.
