iphone audio streaming from home NAS?

I have been using Air Video to remotely stream from my home PC to iphone but is there something similar just for audio?

i.e. I want to stream audio over the air remotely (possibly with transcoding if required) from my home NAS.

Air Video does exactly this with client and server apps but only for video files.

Strange it cant do this natively from iTunes (or perhaps it can, not seen that feature advertised though).

    Could try one of:

The Simplify one seems to appear a lot on searches.

Edited: Ah, maybe Simplify isn't the way to go at the moment: http://www.simplifymedia.com/blog/

Thanks for the link but don't think any of them are what I'm after.

I just want to stream from a standard file share - that's what Air Video does. I don't want any itunes involvement, I detest it! The phone is jailbroken BTW.

Not sure there's a DLNA iphone client app? This linky seems to suggest there is,

worth a shot if nothing else.

This one is just over wifi within the house. I want it remotely over 3G or wifi away from home, like Air Video.
