Not strategy, more shoot 'em up but not Gears of War either. Its a more 'grown up' shooter.

    Beautiful artwork too. Good game.

You have to pick the right weapon / bio thingie to take down the big bosses, but otherwise not really.

Resident evil, thats a good one too (not sure if its on 360 but guess it is?).

Last one was really good but preferred the old Resi 2 and Code Veronica ones on the PS1.

Thanks for the tips so far.

Have put a bid in for Crackdown on eBay - it's going for a few quid nowadays.

Will look into Bioshock 1 too.

Ah, forgot Fallout 3, that is a monster of a game. Loved that one.

I'm playing the PC version. The way the games are picked on IWNET means that one moment, I'm reigning death from above with an AC-130. The next I'm being Noobtubed by every1 and his monkey with an urban camo ACR.

Which reminds me, ACR over SCAR-H everyday, however it probably plays differently on the PS3?

I tend to switch between the ACR / UMP / LSW depending on the type of map.

                Not heavy strategy, no.

It's a tiny bit more strategic than Gears of War - laying landmine traps, hacking gun turrets that initially try to kill you to work for you - but you don't have to do those things.

You can also use the environment to your advantage - enemy wading through a flooded room, fire electric bolt at water.

You are probably right about the ACR, i was using it last night and it seems to reload faster and fire faster than the SCAR. What secondary do you use? I've not found one thats effective (maybe bar the G18) so just carry a Stinger to shoot down harriers.

Even more annoying than the noob tubes are those who give themselves every speed perk going and just run around the map in a blur knifing everyone.

WHS,Bioshock 1 is one of my fave's, play it in the dark.

Fired up Bioshock 2 last night and so far its pretty much the same, a bit darker than the last maybe?

                    Batman:Arkham Asylum is also excellent

I am a bit bored of the games I have so looking for suggestions from other players.
                      Call of Duty modern warfare
Call of Duty modern warfare 2
                      Fifa

I've spent 90% of my xbox time on those games. Must have internet connection and play them on xbox live.

I also bought guitar hero and the drums and everything very enthusiastically but have not played much of it for what I paid. They're more social/party games, I think that's why.

I had an obsession with Grand Theft Auto 4 when it came out for a few weeks but haven't played it since.

For me the online play is what gives the longevity for a game and hence the value for money.
