    Laptop Insurance

    Hi,

Did a search and could not find the answer. Which insurance for laptop? I looked at CompuCover which seems to have a good deal but bad reviews.

    Cheers.

      Having just checked

compucover: 12 months £1750 worth of cover is £131

DirectLine: 12 months business cover including £2000 laptop (loss, theft or damage anywhere in the world) is £132

Direct line will also cover you for loss of earnings up to £100,000

I got a SOHO policy so all LtdCo's laptops, desktops, etc are included with the personal insurance.

thanks for that - my quote was £117 for the basic stuff, when I added extras like employers liability and outbuildings insurance it went up to £221 which is still a good figure.

Have to watch out for the excess though, e.g. the excess on the mobile is more than the value of my mobile.
