    Buy weather forecast data

    Hi,

Apart from http://www.qwikcast.com/ does anyone know of other sites where I can buy a subscription to weather forecast data?

I need at least a 5 day (preferably longer, ideally 15 day) weather forecast for use on a website. Ideally raw data feed (XML) or something where I can customise the layout and look and feel of the forecast. Temperature, rainfall, wind speed + direction, humidity etc.

The data needs to be for Cyprus. e.g. http://www.qwikcast.com/cgi-bin/fore...?zip=Paphos,CY

Obviously I am willing to pay for the data (e.g. annual subscription).

    Any ideas?

I've not used them for web services type stuff DP, but here's one for starters (I use it for local weather as a web page):

That only seems to supply UK weather data. I require Cyprus weather forecast data.

      Cheers,

      DP.

        Are you sure sir?

I see what you mean - the services cover UK but they seem to have access to International on their website. Odd...

Yes, from me, one of my sidelines, good data too, not that American rubbish.

I'm not in the office, but shall find the URL to get in touch with sales later.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

            Ahem, bulltulip.

Threaded, you sell weather data and you don't even know the URL for your sales dept?

Try the NOAA website - my eldest step-daughter is a marine biologist, her team gets a lot of their data from here.

Why not buy a time machine, go forward and find out what the actual weather will be and forecast that.

I guess that's what Threaded does.
