    Which 24" Monitor?

Hi all, can anyone recommend a good 24" flat screen? Will be used for general web browsing etc, some PC gaming, and also connected to a PS3 for gaming and blu-ray.

Ideally was looking for something in the £200-£300 price range

    Cheers

That's not much of a range!

(EDIT: just noticed your edit )

No direct suggestions I'm afraid (I'd go for a Dell Ultrasharp at that size but it would blow your budget out of the water) but it might be worth posing the question on the monitors forum over at OcUK.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

I'm currently sitting in front of an LG W2442PA that I have no particular complaints about other than in the internal speaker isn't up to much. I think I decided in this one because my previous monitor was an LG and this one has VGA, Digital and HDMI inputs which means I could have a PC and my Mac, and a PS3 connected, at the same time if I so desired. Can't really comment on picture quality because I haven't anything to compare it to.

I have a Samsung Syncmaster which (IIRC) was about 300 notes from PC world.

Nice response time and good colour/contrast.

I would not trust its description from that page, in one place it says 2ms response time further down it says 5ms response time
This default font is sooooooooooooo boring and so are short usernames

Did you get anywhere with this then? What did you get? I'm after a new monitor as my dell 24" has gone up the spout and I'd like another, but I'm wondering if there is something just as good/better for the same monies?
Who has time? Who has time? But then if we do not ever take time, how can we ever have time?
