    Windings or not?

    I need to complete a form electronically which has boxes on that require a "tick". Where do I find the symbol/icon of a tick in a box?

    which application?

    Personally I'd just mark them with an X and be done with it

        Have you looked in Windings?
        Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

                Unicode has two tick sign normal : U+2713 and bold U+271 it also has a 'ballot box' character and a bunch of other moderately unuseful stuff. Or just use a nice fancy GIF/PNG.
