Can the release candidate still be installed or is it going to complain and ask for a license key?

I installed it on my desktop a month or so ago, and IIRC it's okay until June until it starts to nag you. But I think you need a key, but I don't think it's a unique key. Will work inside IR35. Or for food. -

June 2009 or June 2010?
I only need it installed and running properly for a week or so to see if it's compatible with my laptop. The Windows 7 upgrade advisor seemed to question my graphics cardCoffee's for closersComment

The advisor said something about my laptop graphics card too, and initially it didn't work but then sorted it out with Windows update. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

Has anyone successfully upgraded their RC install to a proper GA version? I know MS don't support it but I've seen this and I am tempted to give it a go.Numbly tolerating the inequality as a way to achieve greater prosperity for all.Comment

Good to know. I have the RC Ultimate installed on my desktop, but I was going to buy Pro, and obviously don't want to reinstall everything if I can help it.Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

Why not stick with Ultimate? Its a £10 difference on Amazon.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostGood to know. I have the RC Ultimate installed on my desktop, but I was going to buy Pro, and obviously don't want to reinstall everything if I can help it.
You probably won't use the extra features but it does mean you can look down on the Pro users
