    It says "no valid title found"

    Tested his on several AVI.

    Could be something alone the lines that AVI is not a format in itself a container of another format.

        I use this wierd Japanese one which uses mplayer and some other things, but I've hacked about with it so I can have multiple versions to convert for my ipod or my walkman or whatever. Easy peasy

          Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

            ++

            It has presets to match the output codec to ipod processing power and screen resolution, so you'll get the best result without having to configure much.

                ffmpegX does the job well but has lots of fiddly little options so you can really fudge it up...

                    It doesn't do AVI's.

                      Yes it is, I stripped it down and used it to make batch files. I can now drag whole folders, drives or even just single files to it and it will convert to ipod or walkman format. I'm quite happy with it.
