    Server 2008/Vista VPN

    Right,

If you remote desktop into a 2003/XP machine and it would allow you to connect to a vpn without cutting you off. If you do this with 2008/Vista however the moment the VPN connects your remote desktop get cut off.

So basically when a vpn connect the local lan gets cut off.

Can somebody point me in the right direction with this?

I'm not up to date with this stuff, but there used to be a "use default gateway on remote network" option in the VPN setup that you had to turn off (otherwise it routes all traffic over the VPN and you lose your local access).
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
