How is Mesh different from Windows Live SkyDrive?Originally posted by jmo21 View PostI'm using Windows Live Mesh which has 5Gb free online storage, as well as synching computers and remote desktop features

Is it the sync features?Comment

Mesh is more about the synching/automatic backup, and the remote desktop capabilities.Originally posted by Clippy View Post
if Mesh gave you a free 25 gig, there'd be no point in Sky Drive from what I can tell.Comment

Mesh works on Windows Mobile too so you can back up your photos, documents etc, also access your desktop documents from the phone.
Good if you need to show off in a meeting and whip out a powerpoint presentation that you just edited on your desktop.Comment

Dropbox gives you seperate public/private folders.
General public can't just browse your public stuff but you can send them a URL to download a specfic file.
You can also share entire folders with nominated people... although they also need a Dropbox account.Coffee's for closersComment

Started using it a few weeks ago to sync PC's and share some files, can't fault it so far. Jumped through some small hoops like introducing a friend etc and got another .5Gb added to the account for free. 2.5Gb is plenty for what I need but if I needed to up the storage I'd happily pay.Originally posted by Spacecadet View PostWHS
