    ms entity framework

    this seems to have been getting a pasting since it came out as well as linq to entities. has anyone done a direct a/b with nhibernate? i have some thoughts of my own on the matter but would welcome any input from fellow practitioners.

    Not sure we can compare NHibernate and the MS entity framework as the MS entity framework is neither an ORM nor a persistence engine.

        Emperors new clothes if you ask me, has advantages if you want to mock the hibernate objects for unit testing but the world has gone mad for them, I really cannot see what all the fuss is.

          marvellous. using Castle Windsor for my projects, it's brought nothing but benefits, with the possible caveat that you can end up with a very unwieldy xml config file unless you do some kind of auto-registration.
