    Running 2008 Server 64 on ML115

I know a few people on here have HP ML115 servers as test boxes, is anyone running 2008 Server on theirs?

I've been running various 2003 Server flavours on there but put 64 bit 2008 on over the weekend and simply cannot get the network card to work.

Tried all the drivers from: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=4024

but they refuse to install saying supported hardware is not present (it has Broadcom). Network port happily flashes away and no hardware errors shown but cant get it to actually work.

Has anyone managed with this OS, and if so, what driver did you use?

I've got a new ML115 in the office that's running Server 2008 x64, but the internal network card is running the HP NC105i driver.
That's also using the default Server 2008 driver that was detected during installation.

Have you tried to detect the driver with a tool like Driver Detective (http://www.drivershq.com/)? I don't know if it supports Server software, but it picks up all the drivers for my computers at home (both 64 and 32 bit Vista) with little trouble.

Had another play last night and is now running 2K8 64 bit happily. Turns out one of the drivers from http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=4024 DOES install ok. Think its was the Broadcom 1GB multifunction one.

Still surprised how nippy these boxes are for the price!
