What software do people use to rip dvds (incl avi's) to their iphone to watch?

    Cheers,

I purchased VideoFab Converter for the job. Also slow and painful, too many options, but works more often.

Handbrake - only trouble is it takes about 30 minutes, who's got that sort of time?

+1 I use the Ultimate package which allows DVD's and Files to be converted, well worth the $20 or so i paid.

I could never get Handbrake to work properly on Windows, works great on Macs though.

I found on some of the free packages the sound and picture went out of sync.

For the record, you can convert DVDs and files with the ipod suite. I do it all the time.
