Ok not computer related, but DD wants a Lite Flash Card to download games for her Nintendo ( as friend has done so). Has anyone done this and are the games decent quality?

I believe the CycloDS Evolution still has the best all-round compatibility for running "homebrew applications" with the minimum of fuss.
There are cheaper cards (R4, DSTT, etc.) out there, but I hear of fewer ROM compatibility problems with the Cyclo.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket? -
I bought 2 of the Acekard2 units and 2x 4Gb MicroSD memory cards for my younger 2 sons, the total cost was about £38 so £19 each including the memory.
Took seconds to set up and there have been no compatability issues of any kind, extremely pleased with the results.Comment

As an aside, if anyone is after a decent 8GB Micro SD card then I can recommend these @ £11.99. Bargain IMHO.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

Edge card from Amazon Marketplace.
Of course, you should only play games that you have bought, but since they are direct rips, there are no problems with the quality.Comment

PCJerry might be worth a try. Just bought another Cyclo from there myself.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostI'm after another one but I only really need the card adapter, no need for the card reader, storage case etc... any tips on where to get it from ?
I've also seen some deals pop up on HotUKDeals from time to time, name of the vendor escapes me for the minute, but they ship from the states.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

Just a quick heads up for those with an R4 - some of the games won't play unless you download the new r1.18 kernel from hereComment
