    X10 - home automation

been googleing for an *ethernet* X10 home automation plug thingy...

    do they exist?

one that goes straight to the router and allows me to power cycle an appliance/lights/etc.

if not - whats the next best thing or recommendations?

Why would anyone require an X10 controlled telly?

So you can turn it on & off from another room or what?
no to turn the lights on and off at different times and to power cycle my DVR and slingbox when it freezes - whilst I am away thus the ether net connection to the router
