How come there are 2 expected results per test? Is the first one the pass/fail, and then the software gets an extra merit mark if it passes the second one too?

I'm no testing expert, but surely that's fundamentally naffed up!

There are two screens - one expected result per screen.

What amazed me is that the author asked me to customize Quality Center to cope with his two expected results!!

Get the lazy fecker to do 500 copy/pastes so that both expected results are in the same box.

Tedious work, but serves him right for being a twat in the first place...

That is 500 scripts, around 30 steps per script.

He is playing hard ball - quoting 30 weeks to get this imported. As from a large consultancy they are trying to blag an extra resource at clients expense.

Personally, I think that they should either:

1. JFDI, there are two of them, they could lick this in a week.

2. Speak to their superiors, and get some poor office admin temp to get it sorted.

As a seasoned permie, I am wanting contractors to take headaches away from me, not to give me any more!

oh no do the poor dears have to hit ctrl+c and ctrl+v 15000 times each.... Let's be generous and give then 2 seconds for each key press..

Still easily done in 2 days. Somebody needs to grow some balls and tell them to shut up and do it now or they aren't getting paid!!!

umm...but if there are 2 screens shouldn't he have 2 tests, thus hitting that magic proportion of 1 expected result per test?

Sounds like Wilmslow has fooked up and instructed the tester to do something stupid.

Now just trying to sort it out before his boss finds out.......
