    T-mobile bar stewards!

Got two lines with them on business accounts, second one with web n walk plus. They are now advertising free wifi hotspot access with the web n walk packages but for 'new customers only'.

Just tried dealing with the sales droid and they wouldn't budge. Guess I'll be cancelling the account in May...

    T-Mobile are tulip imo.

I tried to get a business line with them and the company failed the credit score. Ok, at the time we had no accounts but had been trading 12 months.

PremierInn gave me £2k credi easy enough...but £30/month was too much for T-Mobile to muster.

I even offered to pay upfront for the whole year to which they replied that I can't do that becuase that would mean opening a business account which would require you to pass a credit check.

Muppets. Yet they were happy for me to have it in my name.

    I cancelled.

      Have you tried this:

Send a SMS text on your datacard with the message "password" (without quotes) to 9526 and you will get a reply with a login and password for your account enabling access to Hotspots.

Worked for me and I've had WnW for quite some time. I used the login no probs at Starbucks last week!

That's odd because I got my line for my brand new company i.e. < 1 month old.

They restricted some stuff e.g. international for 6 months but I got the phone delivered next day. This was Nov 2007 so maybe they've changed policies?

Nov 2007 was around when I was looking. Maybe they just didn't like me.

I'll give it a go, thanks.

Hmm, got a reply telling me to text "OPEN to set up access...Charges and T&Cs will apply".

                  IMO Orange are worse.

I pay about £800-£900 a year on bills but when I had a dodgy phone and decided to upgrade early, they wanted £250 upgrade fee. I told them I would rather leave than pay on principle so they put me through to the "retentions" team. They basically sad that I could leave but it would cost me £250 to buy out my contract and if I wanted to leave at the end of my contract, to send in a letter.

What kind of business model are you running when you will not waive £50 but are prepared to lose £900 a year on bills?

When my contract runs out, I am leaving Orange...fookin rubbish customer service....
